HOMOEOPATHY

Homoeopathy is a system for the promotion of mental, emotional and physical health which has two particularly effective aspects to it:

• The case is taken on the basis of you as an individual. It is not an automatic prescription system where you 'report' your symptoms and receive the same remedy as the last person presenting with a seemingly identical case. Homoeopathy is reliant upon the homoeopath taking the case in such a way as to elicit your mental, physical and emotional experiences. These details are then matched to a materia medica which is based upon what is now over two hundred years of empirical recordings.
• The remedies are prepared in a way unique to the homoeopathic system and this is where its great range of effectiveness comes from. Some of the remedies are well known herbs and minerals, some are not. Via the method of succussion and dilution, extremely fine doses of the original substance are rendered effective for the assistance of our fellow man, woman and child. Via this same method, the remedies have no side-effects and from the potencies of 12C and above, do not in any way interfere with prescribed or supplemental medicines. Through this, a harmony of treatment between 'orthodox' and 'alternative' systems can easily be achieved.
